Ronn H2GO to Relieve Truck Diesel Fuel Costs

In early June I had talked about the Ronn Motors Scorpion exotic car coming standard with a hydrogen-on-demand (HOD) system that would be the first of its kind anywhere. Now, Ronn Motors of Austin, TX has decided to do itself one better and promotes its H2Go HOD system for use in the long haul trucking industry.

The Scorpion actually uses a Hydrorunner G3 hydrogen on demand system, in which a small amount of water is electrolyzed and the resulting hydrogen is then injected into the supercar’s intake system. Presumably the Hydrorunner will now be relabeled and sold under the Ronn Motors brand.

Ronn Motors will be competing with other large names in the HOD trucking industry including the Canadian Hydrogen Energy Company (CHEC), Hy-Drive Technologies and HyPower Fuel.

CEO of Ronn Motors, Ronn Maxwell is predicting that the H2Go system will save long haul trucker in the range of 25-percent fuel savings. If this number is accurate this could heat up the competition considerably since CHEC is only guaranteeing a minimum of 10-percent savings for long haul trucks.
