Dan Green (yes, his real name) of Kilauea, Hawaii has invented an HHO generator for his 1985 Volkswagen Westfalia that he says improves gas mileage by 30-percent. What is unique about Green’s van is not the hydrogen gas saver unit itself, but the fact that the device is powered by solar energy.

Green has a solar panel mounted on top of his Volkswagen that collects the sun’s energy. The energy is transformed into electricity and fed to a second battery at the back of the vehicle. This battery in turn supplies power to the hydrogen gas saver that injects HHO gas into the engine of the vehicle.

Like other HHO generators, Dan Green’s device boosts the power, efficiency and fuel savings of his vehicle. Green also mentions the trucking and shipping industries as the two candidates that could benefit the most from this technology now.

With as much fuel as large ship burn while out to sea, one would think they would be all onboard with hydrogen gas saver technology. However, this is one area that is seriously lacking right now in the industry.

The Union Democrat ran an article about hydrogen gas saver inventor Frank Robinson, 63, who is selling two dozen or more devices per week. Robinson is a garage tinkerer whose business has spread mostly by word of mouth.

Robinson attributes his success to Stan Meyer, a very controversial figure in this field, who invented a so-called water-powered dune buggy. Even though Meyer has been discredited by the courts in Ohio, he still has many avid fans who have replicated parts of his technology with positive results.

One of the testimonials to Robinson’s hydrogen gas saver is the local hair dresser who says her vehicle when from 14 mpg to 27 mpg with the hho generator installed. According to the article, local firefighters are also using the hydrogen gas saver on their personal vehicles.

As you can see from this blog and others, inventors of hydrogen gas savers are now coming out of the woodwork. It’s about time, too as this country now needs a solution to saving fuel and reducing greenhouse gases.

Hydrogen on demand is hot right now. How hot? While the critics are quoting the laws of thermodynamics to try to prove the theory of hydrogen on demand from water cannot work, motorists are debunking them with practical application by saving money at the pump.

A few months back, every so often you’d hear a story about a guy in his garage inventing a hydrogen on demand generator that uses water electrolysis to create HHO gas for a gasoline or diesel powered vehicle. Recently, however, with the high price of oil and gas, inventors are coming out of the woodwork.

Take today for example. There are three separate articles, two from Arizona and one from Missouri about independent proprietors building and using hydrogen on demand units with positive success. The first inventor is Ed Hula a former science teacher from Buffalo, Missouri who has used his $600 hydrogen on demand device on 30 vehicles so far averaging between 28-percent and 72-percent increased fuel mileage.

The next article is about inventor Adrien Burkhart of Chandler, Arizona who sells a $700 hydrogen on demand generator. Mr. Burkhart says he has a couple of hundred thousand miles on one of his HHO generators and it’s still working.

The last article is a neighbor of Mr. Burkhart’s in Mesa, Arizona who is installing his hydrogen on demand units in a mechanic’s shop at the corner of Power Road and McDowell Road. One of the customers of “Steve” said this hydrogen on demand unit saved him and his family $70 to $80 on a recent 250-mile trip in an SUV.

So, there you have it, a roundup of today’s stories about hydrogen on demand saving gas and emissions from Arizona to Missouri. Earlier this week, people in Tennessee and Louisiana were also benefitting from using hydrogen on demand to curtail their gasoline usage.
